Black Horse Grob Tutor T1 ARTF

The Grob (G115E) Tutor T1 is the current elementary trainer aircraft for the Royal Aircraft. It is also flown by students in the University Air Squadrons and provides air experience flying for Air Cadets up and down the UK.

Like all trainers, the Tutor has to provide the right balance between performance and stability to allow budding jet jockeys the chance to cut their teeth before moving on to the Tucano.

Black Horse have taken this well known aircraft and turned it into an awesome model for both advanced training (one up from a high wing trainer) or scale Sunday flying with character! A tough, aluminium undercarriage that has the practicality of a trike configuration makes an ideal follow-on from a pure trainer.

Like all Black Horse models, there is a careful combination of CAD design, CNC cut components and highly skilled assembly back at the factory to create a reliable, interesting model that is fun to fly. The Tutor is the kind of model that you can use as a weekend 'hack' or enter a local scale competition.
